How We Met
Christina and Justin stumbled upon each other's Match.com profiles in September 2009. After a few emails Justin finally worked up the courage to call Christina on October 3 and they set a date to meet. On October 16 Christina showed up at the Old Chicago pizzeria only to find out Justin was running 15 minutes late; it was a good thing she hung around! That night Justin helped get Christina signed up for Old Chicago's Beer Tour. **Fun fact: To date Justin has bought Christina over 80 beers at Old Chicago alone! (note from Justin: wait, what?!)
You'd think Justin would wise up and show up on-time to the second date. He didn't. Boy did he luck out to find a patient gal like Christina! He made it up on the third date, where he made his mom's lasagna recipe and the rest is history.
Our Travels
It wasn't long before Christina and Justin started having adventures together.

The Proposal
In January 2013 Justin popped the question. Downton Abbey was on (the wedding episode) and Justin figured..."she's weak! time to strike!"
What Makes Us Click
Traveling together. Drinking beer and eating pizza. Heavy doses of sarcastic humor interspersed throughout the day. Cooking for each other. Funny faces using FaceTime and Skype. Word Dojo. Christina making Justin put down the physics books for awhile and embrace life like a normal human. Justin explaining what 'boson sampling' is to Christina. Christina patiently listening to Justin's horribly boring work stories.
Justin Benjamin Spring
Justin grew up in Massachusetts and was pretty much a big nerd from the start. Science class, video games, Dungeons & Dragons...you name it, Justin loved it. He went to the University of Virginia and upon graduation entered the Air Force. He's since been assigned to a number of cool spots (Albuquerque NM, Dayton OH, Colorado Springs CO, Oxford England and...in April 2014...Washington DC). As an aficianado of the 'make a funny face at the camera' pose, he knew he found the girl for him when he met Christina. She also likes nerdy stuff! Or, more likely, is an amazing actress.
